Although the shop will be opening at the same time as the Shooting Range it will take us some time to fit the shop out and fully stock it. However, you will be able to purchase all guns (if you are 18 years old and over), accessories and equipment. If we don’t have your requirements in stock at the time, it only takes 24 hours to get it.

You can CALL US NOW! to discuss your requirements and we promise no hard sell, no bull__t, on the contrary, as a much valued customer, our objective is always to deliver, good  service and advice, in the hope that you return to us for all your shooting equipment and supplies.

You can also order online (excluding Guns which must be purchase face to face by persons 18 and over) Please keep an eye on our SHOP website, we are adding to our products on a daily basis, if you don’t see what you want please give us a call.

Opening Mid-March – Phase One

We are currently fitting out the Range which includes 6, 30 metre lanes, a safe viewing area and safety, briefing and coaching rooms and refreshments room.

The lanes must be pre booked in advance, from a single lane to block bookings, in hourly sessions, on a first come first served basis.

If you have your own gun, bring it along, you can use it subject to passing a free, compulsory Chrono Power Test (below 12ft.lb legal limit only). Top quality guns for hire and sale along with pellets, accessories and equipment from our shop.

Some of the guns for hire and sale include: Air Arms, BSA, Brocock, Daystate and Weihrauch to name but a few.

Whilst strong emphasis will be put on the safe use and handling of the guns – we intend the Shooting Range and facilities to be a fun and safe place to come and enjoy a fantastic sport, which incidentally, as a sport, Team GB is set to do very well in the 2012 Olympics.

Our Range Officials and friendly coaching/instruction team will be on hand at all times. One to one coaching sessions can also be booked.

This sport is available to all ages and abilities and we are pleased to say that we have wheelchair access.

The ammo tray has been designed to provide a convenient and safe place to store your ammo be it pellets or bullets and fits easily to the front arm of all Idleback rifle chairs .The design allows you to maintain the tray in a level position no matter what angle you have the front arm set. Fits to all Rifle and Combo Chairs, Not Suitable for the Shotgun Chair. Weight 430g The tray is an all aluminium construction with a foam pad in the bottom to help with any unwanted noise. Adjustment is made simply by way of a thumb screw.

Idleback Camera Converter Kit £31.50 - Purchase Online

Designed to make swapping from using a gun cradle to using a camera simple and easy to do without tools using the hand wheel provided inserting into the top of the front arm after removing the gun cradle. The converter kit attaches by way of a 3/8^th screw to the underside of a camera mount which you will need in addition to the converter. The mount example shown in the pictures is a Manffrotto  804rc2 and is a very popular choice, available separately from us should you require. Many different mounts are available to work with the converter and if you would like any further advice please give us a call. Approx weight 340 g

Made from a very tough waterproof fabric  the cover has a draw string base to make sure it stays in place while keeping  the worst of the elements  from your Idleback chair. This cover does not form part of an escapology act and is simply there to cover the chair left out in the field or on the back of your truck.

Idleback gun cradle side pads £18.50 - Purchase Online

Designed as a simple way to narrow your gun cradle,we made these as many of our customers have various rifles of differing widths so these help to keep the rifle nice and snug in the cradle helping with the accuracy. The pads simply pull over each side of the cradle and can be used singularly narrowing the cradle from the standard 60mm to approx 50mm, or as a pair making the cradle 40mm wide. The hard standing feet are designed to give more flexibility to the chair when  its been used on a hard surface, for example, target shooting or on a range  also where the surface may be damaged using the standard spiked feet i.e on timber floors etc. Simple to attach or detach just 1 thumb screw on each leg no tools required. Idleback Lamp mount £20.00 - Purchase Online

Designed to carry a lamp under the gun cradle whilst lamping using either the Idleback Rifle or Combo chairs .Full movement of the gun cradle is unaffected, where ever you point the gun the lamp moves with it. The lamp mount fixes to the underside of the gun cradle by simply undoing 1 nut dropping the mount into place then re tighten. Attach the lamp to the underside of the mount and run your wire down the front arm of your chair to the battery. In our example we have paired the excellent Lightforce lamp with a lithium ion battery all mounted to the chair so leaving no trailing wires to tangle A range of Lightforce lamps and lithium Iron Batteries are available separately from our store Weight 158 grams

Designed to cope with softer ground or where extra force is been applied to the chair, trebling the chairs footprint helps to stop sinking. Made from 4mm alloy they compliment the already robust construction of any of the Idleback Chair Range. Weight 150 grams each

The Idleback Extra Padded Seat Cushion £26.00 - Purchase Online

We decided to make this extra cushion after some of our customers requested a little more comfort when sitting for extra long periods of time It’s a simple add-on that will fit any existing Idleback chair and simply pulls over the existing cushion and secures in place with a draw string apron that locks with a simple toggle so it won’t slip around or fall off. Made from a weather proof vinyl outer shell with a waterproof Pu nylon inner that encases a 2”foam pad. It adds the extra comfort that some of our customers need while only adding around 215 grams in weight.

Extend your night vision sessions with this light weight external battery pack. The pack includes a light weight lithium ion battery and charger, a canvas holder, a stretchable neoprene strap, and a short cable to connect your Pulsar N550 scope to the Battery. We chose to use a short cable as this leaves no trailing wires to get tangled with. Not only does the external battery pack extend your session times from 2hrs to 20 hrs plus, it also improves picture quality and provides a smoother more consistent power delivery to the scope. The battery has a charge level indicator so no getting caught out with lack of power. Overall a great addition to an excellent product .

The Idleback, Base Mount Kit £49.00 - Purchase Online

This kit consists of: 3 purpose made ratchet type straps, 3 anchor points (lashing loops) inc nuts & bolts, Drilling template with step by instructions and pictures. The kit allows you to fix an Idleback chair to a flat base, which in most cases will be a piece of 18mm plywood. Used in the back of a vehicle This becomes a highly effective mobile shooting platform rotating 360 degrees putting you in a position to shoot much quicker as you no longer have to line the vehicle up with the target. The example we have shown in the pictures is of internationally renowned Hunter Ian Harford using his Idleback Chair mounted to the back of his real tree truck. To do this cut a piece of 18mm plywood (not supplied) so that it fits snugly to the base of the truck or Mule etc, use the base mount kit to fix the chair to the ply wood and lay it in the back of the vehicle, no need to fix the ply to the truck as long as it is fits snugly and doesn’t slop about you are ready to go. The Kit also works well on the top of high towers.
